On 1 January 2026 Dubai's single-use plastic ban reached its final phase: plastic beverage cups and their lids are now restricted. This is the cup that replaces them — a full-size 12 oz aluminium cup, printed with your logo, that a guest can drink from, keep, and eventually drop in a recycling bin instead of a landfill.

Why aluminium beats plastic and paper

• Infinitely recyclable. Aluminium can be melted down and remade into new aluminium again and again with no loss of quality. Plastic degrades a little every cycle; laminated paper cups are rejected by most recycling streams because the plastic lining cannot be separated economically. Aluminium has no such problem.
• Recycling it uses a fraction of the energy. Making a product from recycled aluminium takes up to 95% less energy than making it from raw ore — which is why aluminium is one of the few materials with a genuinely circular economy behind it.
• Actually reusable. Rinse it and use it again. This is not a disposable cup that happens to be metal — it survives a dishwasher and a season of events.

• Full colour, UV DTF. A full-colour transfer that carries gradients, photographs, multi-colour logos and fine detail that a single-colour print cannot. Produced in 3 working days.

Full colour is priced the same as 1 colour — so if your logo has more than one colour, there is no reason to simplify it.

Are aluminium cups recyclable in the UAE?

Yes. Aluminium is one of the most widely recycled materials there is, and unlike plastic it can be recycled repeatedly without losing quality. An aluminium cup goes into the same metal stream as a drinks can.

Can I use these instead of plastic cups after Dubai's ban?

That is exactly what they are for. Dubai's final phase of the single-use plastic ban, effective 1 January 2026, restricts plastic beverage cups and their lids. An aluminium cup is a reusable, recyclable alternative rather than a single-use plastic product.

How much does a printed aluminium cup cost in Dubai?

From AED 2.88 per cup at 200 pieces with printing, down to AED 1.79 per cup at 10,000 pieces. Unprinted cups start at AED 2.58 each at 200 pieces and fall to AED 1.49 at 10,000. All prices include VAT.

What is the difference between 1 colour and full colour UV DTF?

A single-colour print puts your logo directly on the metal in one ink — crisp and economical. UV DTF is a full-colour transfer that reproduces gradients, photographs and multi-colour logos. Both cost the same, so choose whichever suits your artwork.

How fast can I get them?

Plain unprinted cups are produced in 1 working day. Full-colour UV DTF takes 3 working days, single-colour printing takes 5 working days. All timings start after you approve the proof.

Do the cups come with lids?

Lids are optional and add AED 0.15 per cup. Choose "With Lids" in the options above.

Are they reusable or single use?
