Which wide format print do you need?
Large format printing, wide format printing and large format print media all describe the same thing: artwork output far wider than an office printer can manage, onto a roll material that is then cut to your size. The choice comes down to how much you want to see through the glass afterwards.
- Total privacy, no branding. Blank frosted film at AED 30.00/m² is the standard meeting-room and clinic treatment — it blocks the view but keeps the daylight.
- Privacy that fades out. Gradient frosted at AED 40.00/m² runs solid at seated eye level and clears towards the top, so the room still feels open.
- Your logo cut into the frost. Standard cut at AED 55.00/m² puts a frosted logo on clear glass. Reverse cut at AED 68.00/m² does the opposite: a clear logo showing through a frosted panel. Reverse cut reads more strongly from a lit corridor.
- Full-colour on glass. Printed frosted at AED 78.00/m² when the logo has more than one colour or a gradient in it.
- Shopfronts and vehicle glass. One way vision at AED 110.00/m² is perforated, so a full-colour graphic is visible outside while people inside still see out.
- Clear applied graphics. The clear window decal at AED 85.00 suits opening hours, door numbers and small applied marks on glass you want to keep transparent.
Supply only or supply and installation
Every frosted and one way vision line above carries two prices. Supply only means the film is printed, cut to your sizes and handed over for your own fit-out contractor to apply — the cheaper route if you already have people on site. Supply and installation adds our team measuring and applying it on your glass, which is the safer choice on large panes, curtain walling and shopfronts where bubbles and misalignment are hard to correct afterwards. The difference is AED 25.00 to AED 40.00 per square metre depending on the material.
Artwork and file setup
Send a print-ready PDF built at final size, or scaled at a clean ratio such as 1:10 with the scale stated. Set colours in CMYK, keep any raster image at 300 dpi at final print size, and allow 3 mm bleed on every edge that will be trimmed. For cut and reverse-cut frost the logo must be supplied as vector artwork (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) with fonts outlined, because the plotter cuts the outline itself — a JPG or PNG cannot be cut.
Always send the measured glass sizes with the file. If you do not have print-ready artwork, design is free with every order through the free design service, and you approve a proof before anything is printed.

What is the difference between large format and wide format printing?
Nothing — they are two names for the same process. Both describe printing onto roll media far wider than an office printer handles, then cutting it to the size you need.
How is the price worked out?
By area. Measure the glass width and height in metres, multiply them together, and multiply that by the per square metre rate. Send us the measurements on WhatsApp if you would rather we did it.
Do you install, or is it supply only?
Both. Every frosted and one way vision line has a supply only price and a supply plus installation price, so you can use your own contractor or have our team fit it.
What is one way vision film?
A perforated film that carries a full-colour printed graphic on the outside while people inside can still see out. It is the standard treatment for shopfront glass and vehicle windows, and costs AED 110.00 per square metre supplied or AED 150.00 fitted.
What artwork do you need for cut frosted logos?
Vector artwork in AI, EPS, PDF or SVG with the fonts outlined, because the plotter cuts along the outline. A JPG or PNG cannot be cut. For printed materials a print-ready PDF in CMYK at 300 dpi with 3 mm bleed is ideal. If you do not have artwork, design is free with every order.
