Which printing method for which fabric?
Fabric printing, textile printing, cloth printing and garment printing all point at the same job, but the technique behind them is not interchangeable. The fabric decides most of it.
- Screen printing — the classic choice for cotton t-shirts and large chest or back designs in one to three flat colours. Silk screen printing gets cheaper per piece the larger the run, so it is the method for event and campaign shirts in the hundreds. It sits flat in the fabric and survives washing well.
- DTF and digital textile printing — prints full-colour artwork, photographs and gradients with no colour limit and no screen setup, which makes it the better economics on short runs and on designs screen printing cannot hold.
- Embroidery — stitched rather than printed, so nothing to crack or fade. The standard for polo shirts, caps and any uniform a customer sees close up, and the safest choice for garments that go through industrial laundry.
- Sublimation — dyes the fibre itself on polyester, giving edge-to-edge colour with no hand feel. Use it on performance polyester like the Core365 and DryNCool ranges, and for sports kit.
Send the logo and the garment you have in mind on WhatsApp and we will tell you which method suits it.
What businesses order most
- Uniforms. Embroidered polo shirts for reception, retail, clinic and facilities teams — the EDNC Santhome polo at AED 7.00 for volume, or a DryNCool performance polo where staff work outdoors in the heat.
- Event and campaign wear. Screen-printed cotton t-shirts and caps for exhibitions, sports days, National Day and awareness campaigns. The SELECT 180 t-shirt at AED 5.00 and NARVA cap at AED 8.50 are the volume pair.
- Corporate gifting. Premium recycled polos such as PRO EARTH at AED 48.00, or the Santhome wool herringbone scarf in a gift box at AED 50.00.
- Complete event kits. Pair garments with printed caps, printed flags and the wider corporate gift items range.
Fabrics in this collection
Choosing the cloth matters as much as the print. The range covers 100% cotton in 220 gsm on the CoolTex polo, heavy brushed cotton on the NARVA and TARTU caps, moisture-managing DryNCool performance polyester across the Santhome sports range, UV-protection polos such as the TECK at AED 28.00 for outdoor teams, anti-microbial knits, and fully recycled polyester in the PRO EARTH, TERRA and NEXTT LEVEL ranges at AED 35.00. Cotton takes screen printing and embroidery best; polyester is where sublimation earns its place.
Artwork and file setup
Send a print-ready PDF, or the original vector file in AI, EPS or SVG. Set colours in CMYK, keep any raster image at 300 dpi at final print size, and allow 3 mm bleed on edges that will be trimmed. Outline your fonts before exporting so nothing reflows.
For screen printing and embroidery, vector artwork matters more than anything else: each colour is separated onto its own screen, and embroidery is digitised from the outline into stitches. Very fine lines and small text do not survive stitching well, so keep detail generous. Full-colour photographs are better suited to DTF or sublimation.
No print-ready file? Design is free with every order — send whatever you have through the free design service and approve a proof before we print.

Frequently asked questions
How much does fabric printing cost in Dubai?
T-shirts start at AED 5.00 a piece with the SELECT 180 roundneck, caps at AED 5.00 with the Hans Larsen cotton cap, and polo shirts at AED 7.00 with the EDNC Santhome. Performance and recycled polos run AED 28.00 to AED 48.00. A single custom-printed t-shirt with no minimum is AED 240.00. All prices include VAT, and your logo is included in the price.
Do you do screen printing in Dubai?
Yes. Screen printing is our standard method for cotton t-shirts and flat-colour designs in larger runs, alongside DTF for full-colour artwork, sublimation on polyester, and embroidery for polos and caps.
What is the difference between screen printing, DTF and embroidery?
Screen printing pushes ink through a separate screen per colour, so it is cheapest on long runs of simple flat-colour designs. DTF is digital, handles unlimited colours and photographs, and is better value on short runs. Embroidery stitches the logo into the fabric rather than printing it, so it will not crack or fade and is the usual choice for uniforms and caps.
Which fabrics can you print on?
The range includes 100% cotton at 220 gsm, heavy brushed cotton, pique knit, DryNCool performance polyester, UV-protection polos, anti-microbial knits, canvas and fully recycled polyester. Cotton suits screen printing and embroidery; polyester is where sublimation works best.
Is the logo printing included in the price?
Yes. Your logo is included in the price shown for each garment.
Can I order just one printed t-shirt?
Yes. The single t-shirt with custom printing is AED 240.00 and has no minimum quantity.
Do you print on garments for uniforms?
Yes. Embroidered polo shirts are the usual choice for reception, retail, clinic and facilities uniforms because stitching survives repeated industrial washing. Polos in this collection run from AED 7.00 to AED 48.00 a piece.
What artwork do you need?
A print-ready PDF or vector file in AI, EPS or SVG, CMYK, 300 dpi for raster images at final size, 3 mm bleed and outlined fonts. Screen printing and embroidery need vector artwork specifically. If you do not have it, design is free with every order.
How long does fabric printing take?
Standard production takes 3–5 working days after final artwork approval.
Do you deliver outside Dubai?
Yes. We deliver to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain, and delivery is free on orders over AED 800.
