Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MAXPRINT PORTAL LLC (“MaxPrint”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit www.maxprint.ae, place an order, send us artwork, or talk to us on WhatsApp, phone or email.

We process personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and other applicable UAE laws.

What information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and order details: your name, company name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, and the products you order.
  • Artwork and files: logos, designs, text and other files you upload or send us so we can prepare and print your order.
  • Messages: what you write to us through WhatsApp, the website chat, contact and quote forms, email or phone.
  • Account details: if you create an account, your login details, saved addresses, wishlist and order history.

Payment information
Payments are handled by our payment providers (currently Nomod) through Shopify’s secure checkout. We do not see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically
When you browse the website we collect device and usage information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, search terms, and how you arrived at the site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and tracking” below).

How we use your information

  • To process, print, deliver or prepare your order for pickup, and to send you order and delivery updates by email or WhatsApp.
  • To prepare designs and proofs from the files you send us.
  • To answer your questions, send quotes and provide customer support.
  • To issue invoices and keep accounting and tax records as required by UAE law.
  • To protect the website and our customers against fraud and spam.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it.
  • To send you news and offers, only where you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by telling us on WhatsApp.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, and only as much as they need:

  • Shopify, which hosts our online store and checkout. Shopify Privacy Policy.
  • Payment providers (currently Nomod) to process your payment.
  • Delivery partners, who receive your name, phone number and address to deliver your order.
  • Printing and production partners, who receive the artwork and order details needed to produce your items.
  • Messaging tools (WhatsApp and respond.io) we use to talk to you.
  • Analytics and advertising services (Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta) that help us measure and improve our website and ads.
  • Website apps that power features such as file uploads, forms, wishlists and customer accounts.

We may also disclose information if we are required to by law, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • keep the website and checkout working, for example your cart and login;
  • remember your preferences;
  • understand how visitors use the site (Google Analytics);
  • measure our advertising and show relevant ads (Google Ads and the Meta Pixel);
  • protect forms against spam (Google reCAPTCHA).

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the website, such as the cart and checkout, may not work without them. You can also manage how ads are personalised through Google Ad Settings and Facebook Ad Preferences, and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Where your information is stored

Our service providers, including Shopify, may store and process your information on servers outside the UAE. When this happens we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards to protect your information.

How long we keep your information

  • Order and invoice records: kept for as long as UAE accounting and tax laws require. This is generally at least 5 years.
  • Artwork and design files: kept so we can reprint or adjust your order when you ask. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
  • Marketing data: kept until you unsubscribe.
  • Other information: kept only as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct it, or to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it;
  • ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to its use;
  • receive it in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent to marketing at any time.

To make a request, email orders@maxprint.ae or message us on WhatsApp at +971 52 210 0909. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the UAE Data Office.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. Checkout and payments are encrypted. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to staff and partners who need it.

Children

Our website and services are intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our services or the law. The latest version is always available on this page.
