Tier 1: AED 21–40 — volume recognition awards
This is where you land when you are recognising 30 sales people, not three executives. The Crystal Diamond Award and 3D Rectangular Crystal at AED 21, the 3D Cube Crystal at AED 22 and the Inclined Round Crystal at AED 31 are all solid optical crystal blocks in the 10–15 cm range. They engrave beautifully, they photograph well on a stage, and at this price you can hand out fifty of them without a budget conversation.

2D vs 3D engraving — what you are actually buying
Every crystal award we supply can be engraved, but there are two very different processes and they suit different artwork.
2D surface engraving (sand-etch or surface laser) frosts the front face of the crystal. It gives you a crisp white matte mark, it is the cheapest option, and it is the right choice for logos, names, dates and citation text. It is also the most legible from a distance — which matters when the award is being photographed on stage.
3D sub-surface laser engraving fires the laser inside the crystal to create thousands of microscopic fracture points, producing a floating three-dimensional image. It is spectacular for buildings, portraits, logos with depth and skyline artwork. It needs a thick, optically clear block — which is exactly why our 3D Cube, 3D Square and 3D Rectangular Crystals are shaped the way they are.
A practical rule: text and logos go 2D; objects and photographs go 3D. If you try to put a paragraph of citation text inside a 3D engraving, it becomes unreadable at any angle.
Colour printing on crystal
Where a logo depends on exact brand colours, UV printing directly onto the crystal face is the alternative to engraving. It reproduces full colour and gradients, but it sits on the surface rather than in the glass, so it lacks the depth people expect from an award. Most clients use a hybrid: engraved company name and citation, UV-printed logo in brand colours.
How to order crystal awards in Dubai
- Count your tiers, not your people. Most events need two or three award levels. Decide how many go in Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 4 before you shortlist shapes — it prevents the common mistake of buying one expensive design for everyone.
- Send artwork as vector. AI, EPS or outlined PDF. Engraving is a single-tone process, so a full-colour logo will be converted to one tone — check that your logo still reads once the colours are removed.
- Supply the exact wording. Names, titles, Arabic spellings and dates should come in a spreadsheet, one row per award. Personalisation errors are the number one cause of reprints, and they are almost always transcription errors, not engraving errors.
- Approve the digital proof. You will get a placement visual per award design showing engraving position and size on the actual shape.
- Allow for production. Budget 4–6 working days for engraved stock shapes, and 7–10 for large personalised batches or 3D sub-surface work. Delivery is next-day across Dubai and Sharjah once produced.

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order for crystal awards?
There is no fixed minimum on stock shapes — you can order a single engraved award. The economics change at around 10 pieces, where the engraving setup is spread across enough units to make the per-award cost drop noticeably. For one-off VIP pieces, the Tier 4 marble and sculptural awards are designed to be bought singly.
Do the awards come with a presentation box?
Some do and some do not, and it is worth checking before you compare prices. The Crystal Award with Blue Base and the Rectangle Wood & Crystal Award both include a box in the listed price. For the rest, presentation boxes are available separately — tell us at quoting stage and we will include them in the total rather than surprising you later.
Can you engrave in Arabic?
Yes. Arabic engraving is standard for us, including bilingual layouts with English and Arabic on the same face. Please send Arabic text as outlined vector artwork rather than typed into an email — font substitution and right-to-left rendering are where errors creep in.
How long does an order take?
Four to six working days for engraved stock shapes is typical, extending to 7–10 working days for large personalised runs, 3D sub-surface engraving or awards that need a custom shape cut. During the National Day and year-end awards season (October to December), book at least two weeks ahead — that period is genuinely busy across the UAE.
What size award should I choose?
For a seated dinner where awards are handed over on stage, 20–25 cm tall photographs best — that is the wooden-base and tower range. For desk-based recognition where the award lives in an office, 12–15 cm is more practical and people keep it visible instead of putting it in a drawer. A useful check: if it will not fit in a cabin bag, remember your recipients may be flying home with it.
Can I mix shapes across one event?
Yes, and it is usually the smarter approach. Keeping one engraving layout and one brand treatment across three different shapes gives you a visually coherent set while letting the budget follow the seniority of the award. We will proof all designs together so the family reads as one system.
