Which material survives Dubai weather?
- Knitted polyester — the outdoor workhorse: lightweight enough to fly in a light breeze, tough enough for sun and coastal humidity. Our default for teardrop, curve top and body flags.
- Taffeta satin — smoother and more colour-rich, with proper double-sided printing (your logo reads correctly on both faces). The choice for office, conference and premium event flags.
- Hardware matters more than fabric. A flag is only as good as its pole and base — aluminium poles, rotating arms (so the flag doesn't wrap around the pole in wind) and weighted bases are included where listed.
Planning for the season
Flag demand in the UAE runs on a calendar. September to December is peak: GITEX and exhibition season, then UAE National Day (December 2) — when body flags, hand-wavers, bunting, A5 UAE flags (50 for AED 170) and UAE flag badges sell out across the city. Production takes about 5 business days after artwork approval, so the golden rule is simple: order your national day and exhibition flags in November at the latest — earlier if you need thousands of pieces. - Design for motion. A flag is never still — one bold logo and 3–5 words beat a paragraph nobody can read mid-flutter.
- High contrast wins outdoors. Dark-on-light or light-on-dark; subtle tone-on-tone disappears in sunlight.
- Mind the sleeve edge. Keep text away from the pole side — our design team checks safe zones on every proof.
- Double-sided only when it matters. Satin double-sided costs more; for a flag seen mostly from one direction (against a wall or window), single-sided knitted polyester saves money.
