A branded first aid kit is the rare corporate gift that gets kept in a glovebox for three years. Real prices from current stock: a 16-item first aid kit in a white box costs AED 17.00, an RCS-recycled zip pouch kit (VINGA Baltimore) costs AED 48.00, and a complete car emergency set — kit, safety hammer, torch and hi-vis vest — comes to roughly AED 53 per head. All prices below are VAT inclusive, with standard 5–7 working-day production and free delivery in Dubai and Sharjah.
This is a practical buying guide: what belongs in each of the three versions used in the UAE, what each one really costs per head, how logos are applied to a kit without wrecking the seal, and the compliance point that catches companies out.
Who actually buys these in the UAE — and why
Three buyer types, three different specifications:
- HSE and facilities teams — buying for compliance and welfare. They need quantity, consistent contents and a kit that is visibly branded so it can be audited and traced to a department.
- HR and internal communications — buying for staff wellness days, Safety Week and new-joiner kits. Budget per head matters more than contents depth.
- Marketing teams in insurance, automotive, construction and healthcare — buying a client or customer giveaway where the product category reinforces the brand promise. An insurance broker handing out an emergency car kit is the strongest category fit in corporate gifting.
Across all three, the deciding factor is almost never contents — it is whether the kit looks like something the recipient would have bought themselves. A plain white box with a logo sticker reads as a giveaway; a zipped RCS pouch reads as a product.
The three versions, and what goes in each
Office / desk version — AED 17–25 per head
Built around the 16-item kit in a white box at AED 17.00. Contents are the plasters, gauze, antiseptic wipes, tape, scissors and gloves that cover the actual incidents in an office: paper cuts, minor burns at the kitchen point, headaches. Add a pill box organiser at AED 2.10 and a pocket sanitiser spray at AED 2.10 and you have a desk kit at around AED 21 that staff keep in a drawer.
What this version does not need: a safety hammer, a hi-vis vest, or a torch. Buying an outdoor kit for an office is how per-head costs double for no use.
Car version — AED 48–75 per head
The best-performing version for client gifting in the UAE, because everyone drives. Built from:
- First aid kit, zipped pouch (VINGA Baltimore RCS) — AED 48.00, or the boxed 16-item kit at AED 17.00 for a tighter budget
- Emergency car safety hammer, belt cutter and glass breaker (THOR, XD Design) — AED 13.00
- Torch — AED 9.40 a piece (AED 470 per 50)
- Windscreen sunshade — AED 6.50 polyester, or AED 13.00 in DuPont Tyvek
- Travel blanket with pouch (COSY, Giftology) — AED 22.00
A sensible mid-budget build is the boxed kit, hammer, torch and sunshade at AED 45.90. The premium build with the RCS pouch kit and travel blanket lands at AED 89.50. Pack it in a branded zipper pouch with a transparent window (AED 3.50) so the contents are visible without opening — which matters a great deal for whether it ends up in the car or in a cupboard.
Site / field version — AED 55–95 per head
For construction, logistics, facility management and utilities. Built around hi-vis and tools rather than plasters:
- Reflective safety vest — AED 13.40 a piece (AED 670 per 50)
- First aid kit, 16 items — AED 17.00
- Multi-function tool, 12-in-1 (SALO) — AED 15.50; or 17-in-1 (LAHTI) — AED 19.00; or 15-in-1 stainless (KITEE, Santhome) — AED 52.00
- 24-in-1 precision screwdriver set (BREVIK) — AED 25.00
- 4-in-1 multi-utility keychain (GUARDA) — AED 9.00
- Powerbank with safety alarm and torch (ZEPHYR, @memorii) — AED 41.00; 5-in-1 version with torch, phone holder and mirror (ARCHIE, Giftology) — AED 37.00
A standard site welfare kit of vest, first aid kit and 12-in-1 tool is AED 45.90. Adding the powerbank with safety alarm and torch brings it to AED 86.90 and turns it into a long-service or Safety Week gift rather than a consumable.

How branding works on a kit (and where it goes wrong)
A first aid kit is a sealed product, so where the logo goes is a real decision, not a detail.
- On the case — screen print or pad print. Cheapest and most durable on a hard-shell box. One to two colours, logo on the lid. Do not print over the first aid cross symbol; on a compliance kit that symbol has to stay legible.
- On a zip pouch — embroidery or heat transfer. Embroidery on an RCS fabric pouch gives the best perceived value. Heat transfer is cheaper and allows full colour but is the first thing to wear in a glovebox.
- On a label — the practical route for mixed kits. A PVC or vinyl sticker on the case is the only sensible option when you are branding ten different component types in one kit. Waterproof vinyl, not laminated paper, because kits live in cars and site lockers at 50°C.
- On the outer box — printed sleeve or belly band. Keeps the medical case itself clean and legible while the branding does its job on the packaging. This is what we recommend for anything going to clients.
One compliance note worth putting in writing: a branded promotional first aid kit is not a substitute for the workplace first aid provision your site is required to hold. These are personal and vehicle kits. If you are buying to satisfy a site requirement, your HSE officer should sign off on contents against the relevant standard before you order quantity — and a logo must never obscure the contents list or expiry information printed on the case.
How to order
- Pick the version and budget per head. Office AED 17–25, car AED 46–90, site AED 46–95. Tell us the per-head number and we build to it rather than quoting a catalogue item.
- Confirm quantity. Boxed kits and accessories run from 50 pieces; the RCS pouch kits and tools from 25 pieces. Multi-component kits are priced on the component with the highest minimum.
- Send vector artwork. AI, EPS or PDF with outlined fonts. For a one-colour pad print, give us a Pantone reference; printing on a white medical case is the one place where a brand colour mismatch is immediately obvious.
- Approve the sample. We send a photo proof of logo position on the case within one working day, and a physical sample on request before a run above 250 pieces.
- Kitting and delivery. 5–7 working days for branded stock kits; add 2–3 days for multi-component assembly into a branded box or pouch. Free delivery in Dubai and Sharjah, next-day courier to Abu Dhabi, Ajman, RAK, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain.
Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order for branded first aid kits in the UAE?
50 pieces for the boxed 16-item kit at AED 17.00, and 25 pieces for the RCS zip pouch kits and multi-tools. Under 25 pieces the branding setup dominates the cost, so for a small executive batch it is usually better to buy unbranded kits and add a printed sleeve or a foiled swing tag.
Do the kits come with an expiry date?
Yes — the sterile contents (plasters, gauze, wipes) carry an expiry, typically two to three years from manufacture. Ask for the current batch date at the time of ordering, and if you are buying for HSE stock rather than giveaways, plan a replacement cycle rather than treating the kit as permanent.
Can we customise the contents list?
Yes, within limits. We can add commercially available items — sanitiser, wipes, a torch, a thermal blanket, a pill organiser — and assemble them into a branded case or pouch. We do not supply prescription medication or anything requiring a pharmacy licence, so paracetamol and similar are not included in a corporate kit.
Which version works best as a client gift?
The car version, by a wide margin. The RCS zip pouch kit at AED 48 with a hammer and torch added reads as a thoughtful, useful gift, costs under AED 75, and stays in a glovebox far longer than a desk item stays on a desk. It is also the easiest version to justify to a client with a gifting policy, because it is clearly functional rather than ornamental.
Can you brand each component separately?
Technically yes, but it is rarely worth it. Branding five components adds five setup charges and often doubles the per-head cost. The better approach is one visible logo on the case or pouch plus a printed outer sleeve — same visual impact, roughly half the branding spend.
Are these prices VAT inclusive and do they include branding?
Yes, all prices include 5% VAT and one-position single-colour branding on the case or pouch. Multi-position branding, full-colour transfers, embroidery and multi-component kit assembly are quoted separately against your quantity.
