Large format printing in Dubai is priced two ways: by the square metre for anything applied to a surface (window film from AED 30/m², one-way vision at AED 110/m²), and per unit for anything that comes with hardware (roll-up banner 85 × 200 cm at AED 190, softcase pop-up at AED 1,590). Knowing which pricing model applies to your job is the difference between a AED 600 quote and a AED 6,000 one. This guide covers every material we print, the real prices, the size limits of each format, and how to choose between them.
The two pricing models, and why it matters
A customer asking for "a 3 × 2 metre print" could mean a vinyl graphic stuck to a wall (6 m², priced per square metre) or a free-standing display (one unit, priced with the frame). Same dimensions, completely different invoices.
- Per square metre: window films, wall vinyl, one-way vision, fence and hoarding banners, flex banners. You measure the surface, multiply width × height in metres, and that number is your quantity.
- Per unit: roll-ups, pop-up walls, standees, promotion counters, rigid boards. The frame, the base, the carry bag and the print are one price.
Measure the glass or wall only, never the frame. A 3 m × 2 m shopfront is 6 m², not "a 3-metre sign".
Window and glass graphics — real prices per m²
This is the largest part of our large format printing range, and the most commonly mispriced elsewhere in Dubai. All prices include VAT and full-colour printing.

Worked example: a 6 m × 2.4 m showroom frontage is 14.4 m². In one-way vision with installation that is 14.4 × AED 150 = AED 2,160. The same glass in blank frosted film, supply only, is 14.4 × AED 30 = AED 432. Choose the material by what the glass needs to do, not by what looks impressive in a mock-up.
One limitation worth knowing before you commit: one-way vision only works while the outside is brighter than the inside. After sunset, in a well-lit shop, the effect reverses and passers-by can see straight in. If you need privacy day and night, frosted film is the correct choice. Minimum order on one-way vision is 2 m². Large spans are printed either as one continuous piece where the glass allows, or as multi-piece decals that line up seamlessly across mullions.
Banners: flex, mesh and fence
Flex and mesh banners are the workhorses of outdoor Dubai — hoardings, construction perimeters, event fences, building wraps. From the banners collection:

Mesh versus flex is not a style choice. Solid flex on an exposed fence acts as a sail: in a summer shamal it will tear at the eyelets or take the fence panel with it. Mesh lets wind through. If the banner is above head height, outdoors, and not sheltered, specify mesh.
Fabric choice matters too: knitted polyester is the light indoor default, satin gives richer colour, and block-out has an opaque core so nothing shows through — mandatory for double-sided banners. Edge finishes run from clean cut (short-term indoor) through hemmed (the standard) to reinforced webbing for windy sites, with grommets, sewn rope, pole pockets or D-rings for hanging.

The price jump from AED 190 at 85 cm wide to AED 950 at 150 cm surprises people. It is the mechanism, not the print: a 150 cm roller assembly and its tensioning system cost several times what an 85 cm cassette does. For most exhibition stands, three 85 cm roll-ups at AED 570 total beats one 200 cm unit at AED 1,550 — and you can place them in three different aisles. Hardcase versus softcase: the hardcase ships in a wheeled case that converts into the counter plinth and survives repeated freight handling. If the display flies to three exhibitions a year, pay the AED 260 difference. If it lives in a showroom, softcase is fine.

Foam board and Forex board are not interchangeable. Foam board (5 mm or 10 mm, paper-faced polystyrene) is lighter, cheaper and perfectly flat — right for a two-day conference, a shop promotion, a photo display. It dents when knocked and dislikes humidity. Forex board (2, 3, 5 or 10 mm rigid PVC) is heavier, far more durable and tolerates damp, so it is the choice for anything that stays up for months, gets handled repeatedly, or sits in a lobby, clinic or covered outdoor area. Use 2–3 mm for flat wall mounting and 5–10 mm for free-standing cut-outs and easel work.

Vehicle graphics
The largest format we print is a moving one. Prices are per vehicle, including application:
- Car door branding — AED 1,790. Logo and contact details on both doors; the standard for service fleets.
- Half wrap — AED 5,900. Lower body and rear, full colour.
- Full wrap (van) — AED 7,600. Complete vehicle graphics.

Artwork and how to order
- Measure first. Width × height in metres for surface materials. For window film, measure the glass, not the frame.
- Send print-ready PDF, AI or high-resolution JPG at the finished size. Large format is viewed from a distance, so 72–150 DPI at full size is sufficient — a 100 DPI file at 3 × 2 m is correct, not low quality.
- Keep critical text about 2 cm inside the edge on rigid boards, and further in on anything that gets hemmed or wrapped around a frame.
- Free design. If you only have a logo, our designers lay out the whole piece at no extra cost. A proof comes back for your written approval before anything prints.
- Delivery is free inside Dubai on orders above AED 800. Outside Dubai and across the GCC we quote by address and quantity.

How is large format printing priced in Dubai?
Surface materials — window film, wall vinyl, fence and flex banners — are priced per square metre, starting at AED 30/m² for blank frosted film. What is the largest size you can print?

Do prices include installation?
Window and glass films are quoted both ways: supply only, or supply plus installation. The installed rate runs from AED 55/m² for blank frost to AED 150/m² for one-way vision. Vehicle branding prices include application. Roll-ups and pop-ups are self-assembling and need no installer.
Mesh or flex for an outdoor banner?
Mesh (from AED 55) for anything exposed to wind — fences, hoardings, high or open sites. Flex (from AED 45) for sheltered positions and short-term use. The AED 10 difference is cheaper than replacing a torn banner and a bent fence panel.
How long does large format printing take?
Printed banners, boards and roll-ups typically run 2–4 working days after artwork approval. Installed window graphics and vehicle wraps take longer because the fitting has to be scheduled — allow 5–7 working days. Tell us your deadline before you order and we will confirm it honestly.
Will outdoor prints survive the Dubai summer?
Outdoor materials are printed with UV-resistant inks and laminated where the application calls for it. Expect 12–24 months of good colour in direct sun for standard laminated vinyl, longer on shaded or north-facing surfaces. Mesh and flex banners for hoardings are specified for UAE outdoor conditions from the start.
