For a UAE corporate fragrance gift, the working budget is clearer than most buyers expect: an oud-scented candle starts at AED 14, a bamboo incense burner with 10 oud sticks is AED 19, a portable electric bakhoor burner is AED 70, a complete Arabic oud and bakhoor gift set in a magnetic-closure box is AED 171, and a sculptural ceramic incense burner runs AED 125 to AED 270. One thing to settle before you brief anyone: our fragrance range is burners, oud candles and diffusers — not bottled attar. If your shortlist says "perfume bottles", read the sourcing note below before you build the budget.
Why fragrance works as a UAE corporate gift (and when it doesn't)
Bakhoor and oud are not novelty gifts here — they are the default gesture of hospitality in Gulf homes and majlises. That gives a fragrance gift something most branded items lack: it gets used weekly rather than put in a drawer, and it signals that the sender understands local custom rather than shipping a generic promotional item.
The two situations where it is the wrong choice are worth naming honestly. First, mixed international staff gifting: scent preference is personal, and a strong oud is not universally loved. For a 300-person workforce of 40 nationalities, a burner (hardware the recipient fills with their own scent) travels better than a scented candle in one fixed fragrance. Second, strict corporate gift policies — banks, government-adjacent firms and listed companies often cap per-head value, which rules out the AED 270 tier but leaves the AED 14–70 band fully usable.
The four tiers, and who each one is for
Tier 1 — Event and mass giveaway: AED 14 to AED 25
This is the band for conference bags, Ramadan majlis giveaways and mass staff gifting where the per-head cap is tight. The Arabian Oud and Vanilla scented candle in a glass bottle at AED 14 and the RAAHA Arabic Oudh candle in a ceramic holder with bamboo lid at AED 16 are the volume workhorses.
The smartest item in this tier, though, is the wooden incense burner holder with a pull-out drawer and 10 oud sticks at AED 19. It is bamboo, 242 × 60 × 50 mm, and takes laser engraving on a 60 × 20 mm top surface — which means your logo is etched into wood rather than printed on a label that peels. For AED 19 you are giving a reusable object with consumables included, and the engraving reads as considered rather than promotional. It outperforms almost everything else at this price.
Tier 2 — Client and mid-tier staff gifting: AED 35 to AED 70
The NOUM Arabic Oudh scented glass candle with bamboo lid at AED 42 is the safe centre of this range: frosted glass jar, 30-hour burn, already packed in a kraft gift box, available in black or white so it sits inside most brand palettes without a reprint.
Two alternatives at the same money. The scented candle and aroma reed diffuser set with six sticks at AED 35 gives two objects instead of one, which photographs better and feels fuller in the hand. And the portable rechargeable electric bakhoor burner at AED 70 is the item to pick when you want genuine utility: USB-rechargeable, no charcoal, no open flame, so it is usable in an office, a car or a hotel room where a traditional burner is not. It takes UV, DTF or screen printing.
If you want fragrance without committing to one scent, the Kashmir Wood reed diffuser, 100 ml with six sticks at AED 21 is the quiet, lower-risk option — reed diffusers read as neutral office décor in a way a candle does not.
Tier 3 — Executive and VIP: AED 125 to AED 270
Here the gift becomes an object. The B17 incense burner is AED 125 in green and AED 250 in black; the B20 is AED 135 in grey and AED 270 in black, blue or green; the B16 in blue is AED 200. Note the colour-driven price spread — it is real and it is substantial. If your brand colour happens to align with the cheaper variant, you save roughly half on a VIP gift, which is the single largest saving available anywhere in this category.
The Arabic oud and bakhoor gift set in a black magnetic-closure box at AED 171 is the better pick when the gift needs to feel complete out of the box: a bakhoor charcoal jar with gold lid plus the portable electric burner, in a 260 × 100 × 290 mm magnetic box, branded on the lid or front body by UV, DTF, screen print or epoxy-coated logo. For a board, a key-account list or a Ramadan VIP run, this is the one that looks like a decision rather than a purchase.
Tier 4 — Pairing fragrance with Arabic hospitality: AED 65 and up
The strongest Ramadan and Eid gifts in our experience are not single items but a fragrance piece paired with coffee service. The GAHWA Hans Larsen set of two premium Arabic coffee cups at AED 65 plus the AED 19 bamboo burner, boxed together, lands at AED 84 in components and reads as a far more expensive gift than either piece alone. For a car-gift variant, the hanging car diffuser bottle with bamboo lid at AED 5.50 is the cheapest way to add a third item to any kit.

A sourcing note on bottled perfume and attar
Be careful with briefs that specify "branded perfume bottles". Our fragrance catalogue is burners, oud candles, reed diffusers and bakhoor sets — hardware and home fragrance, all brandable. We do not hold bottled attar or eau de parfum as a stock line. There are two practical reasons this matters beyond availability: liquid fragrance is flammable and alcohol-based perfume ships under dangerous-goods rules, which complicates GCC delivery; and a branded perfume needs fill, scent approval and regulatory labelling, which is a cosmetics project with a multi-month lead time, not a gifting order.
If you genuinely need bottled perfume, buy the fragrance from a perfumer and bring us the packaging and kitting — we will print the outer box, the sleeve, the tag and the sticker, and assemble the finished unit. If what you actually need is "a gift that smells of oud", the burner and candle lines above do the same job at a fraction of the complexity.
Branding: what works on each material
Fragrance items span four materials, and each takes branding differently.
- Bamboo and wood — laser engraving. Permanent, no colour, looks deliberately understated. The AED 19 burner has a 60 × 20 mm engraving area on the top surface.
- Glass candle jars — UV printing or a printed label. Direct UV on frosted glass holds up well; avoid placing artwork low on the jar where wax and heat sit.
- Ceramic and ABS burners — UV or DTF printing for full colour, screen printing for one or two colours at volume, epoxy-coated logos for a raised glossy finish.
- Gift boxes — UV, DTF or screen print on the lid or front face. On the AED 171 set, the recommended area is the top lid and front body of the box.
If you are weighing the methods against each other, our guide to silk screen vs UV vs laser engraving covers the cost and durability trade-offs in detail.
How to order
- Fix the per-head budget and headcount first. The tiers above are genuinely discontinuous — AED 19, AED 42, AED 70, AED 171 — so a budget of AED 50 per head buys a very different gift from AED 65.
- Pick the colour variant before you price. On the B17 and B20 burners the colour changes the price by roughly half. Ask us for the current variant prices rather than assuming parity.
- Send vector artwork — AI, EPS or PDF with fonts outlined — plus Pantone references. We prepare the artwork free and show a proof before anything is produced.
- Confirm whether you need kitting. If several items go into one box per recipient, say so upfront: assembly, inserts and a die-cut tray are quoted per unit and affect the lead time.
- Allow 3–5 working days after artwork approval for standard branded runs. For Ramadan and Eid, work back from the distribution date and add a buffer — the last three weeks before Ramadan are the tightest window in the UAE gifting calendar. Our Ramadan corporate gifts timeline has the specific dates.
FAQ
What is the minimum order for branded oud and bakhoor gifts?
Most items here are priced as single pieces, so there is no hard product minimum. The real constraint is branding setup: screen printing carries a per-colour setup cost that is painful across 20 pieces and negligible across 500, while UV and DTF printing have no colour setup and suit short runs. For anything under about 50 units, expect us to recommend UV or DTF. See how printing MOQs work in Dubai.
Is an electric bakhoor burner a better corporate gift than a traditional one?
For office and client gifting, usually yes. The AED 70 rechargeable burner has no charcoal and no open flame, so it can be used in an office, a hotel room or a car — places a traditional burner cannot. A traditional ceramic burner at AED 125–270 is the better choice when the gift is meant to be a display object for a home or majlis.
Can you brand the gift box as well as the item inside?
Yes, and on premium sets the box is usually the more valuable surface — it is what the recipient sees first and it survives after the candle is finished. On the AED 171 oud and bakhoor set the recommended branding area is the lid and front body. If you are supplying your own contents, the large magnetic gift box at AED 26 is flat-packed and assembled on demand, with optional custom die-cut trays.
Will one scent suit a mixed international workforce?
Not reliably. Oud is polarising for recipients who did not grow up with it. For large mixed teams, give hardware rather than scent: the bamboo burner at AED 19 or the electric burner at AED 70 lets each person choose their own bakhoor. Keep fixed-scent candles for self-selecting audiences and client gifts where you know the recipient.
How long does an oud candle actually burn?
The NOUM candle is rated at 30 hours, which is a genuine month of evening use. Lower-priced candles in ceramic and glass holders burn shorter. If longevity is part of the gift's message, quote the burn hours in your internal brief — it is the specification buyers most often forget to check.
Do prices include VAT, and what about delivery?
All displayed prices include 5% VAT. Delivery is free within Dubai on orders over AED 800; outside Dubai and across the GCC, shipping is charged by destination and quantity. Collection is available from 32 Sheikh Zayed Road, Office 706, Dubai, open daily except Sunday, 09:00–21:00.
