What size is an A4 envelope?
An envelope described as A4 is one that takes an A4 sheet (210 × 297 mm) unfolded. Under the ISO 269 standard that envelope is the C4 format: 229 × 324 mm. The few millimetres of extra width and height are the clearance that lets the sheet slide in without creasing at the corners.
If you fold the A4 sheet once you no longer need a C4 — a C5 envelope (162 × 229 mm) takes it, and folded twice it fits a DL (110 × 220 mm). Choose C4 when the document must arrive flat: contracts, certificates, tender documents, brochures and photographs.

We print A4 envelopes in Dubai on wood free stock in 100 GSM and 120 GSM, full colour on one side, with your logo, return address and any regulatory line you need. 100 GSM is the everyday weight for internal and local post; 120 GSM feels noticeably more substantial in the hand and is the one to choose for client-facing mail, tenders and invitations.
Where the print can go
Front face for the logo and return address, back flap for a tagline or a second mark. Keep artwork about 5 mm clear of the glue line and the flap fold, and leave the bottom right of the front face free — that is where postal sorting marks land.

Quantities run from 200 pieces upward. Send a vector logo and tell us the weight and whether you want one colour or full colour; we lay out the envelope, send a proof, and print after your approval.
