Foam board or Forex board — which one
Foam board (5 mm / 10 mm) is a paper-faced polystyrene core. It is the lighter and cheaper of the two and gives a very flat, clean face, so it suits short-term indoor work: a conference backdrop, a two-day exhibition, a shop promotion, a photo display. It dents if it is knocked and it does not like humidity.
Forex board (2 mm / 3 mm / 5 mm / 10 mm) is a rigid PVC sheet. It is heavier, far more durable, does not dent as easily and tolerates damp, so it is the choice for anything that stays up for months, gets handled repeatedly, or sits in a lobby, clinic, showroom or covered outdoor area. 2 mm and 3 mm are for flat wall mounting; 5 mm and 10 mm hold their shape on an easel or as a free-standing cutout.

Choosing the specification
Tell us four things and we will recommend the board and thickness: what the sign is for, where it will stand, the size you need, and how long it has to last. Larger panels and free-standing pieces generally need the thicker cores; small wall-mounted signs do not.
Artwork
Send print-ready PDF, AI or high-resolution JPG at the finished size. Keep important text about 2 cm inside the edge. If you only have a logo, our designers lay the whole board out for you at no extra cost.

Send us your artwork and our designers prepare it free of charge, then send a proof for your approval before printing starts. All prices shown include 5% VAT.
