Fabric printing in Dubai starts at AED 4 per branded t-shirt, AED 5 per cap and AED 7 per polo shirt from 50 pieces — logo included, no separate setup charge. The bigger decision is not price but method: embroidery, DTF, screen print or sublimation each behave differently on different fabrics, and choosing wrong is why uniforms crack after twenty washes. The four fabric printing methods, and what each is actually for

Embroidery — uniforms, polos, caps

The logo is stitched into the fabric with thread, so there is nothing to peel, crack or fade. It survives industrial laundry, which is why hotels, clinics, security firms and facilities-management companies specify it almost without exception. It reads as premium in a way print does not, and it works on textured fabrics — piqué polos, brushed cotton caps, fleece — where a printed transfer struggles to bond.

The limits: fine detail below about 4 mm disappears into the stitch, gradients are impossible, and a large full-back design becomes stiff and expensive because you are paying for stitch count. Keep embroidery to left chest, cap front and sleeve.

DTF (direct-to-film) — small runs, full-colour artwork

The design is printed onto a film, powdered with adhesive and heat-pressed onto the garment. DTF has taken over the small-run market in Dubai because there is no screen setup: printing 20 shirts costs almost the same per piece as printing 200. Full colour, photographs and fine detail all reproduce cleanly, and it bonds to cotton, polyester and blends alike.

Use it for event t-shirts, campaign wear, staff shirts with individual names on the back, and anything where the artwork has more than three colours.

Screen printing — large runs on cotton

Ink pushed through a mesh screen, one screen per colour. There is a setup cost per colour, so 30 shirts is expensive and 500 shirts is very cheap. The hand-feel is softer than DTF on a big print, and the durability on cotton is excellent. If you are ordering 300+ t-shirts with a one or two colour logo, this is the method that wins on price.

Sublimation — polyester only, edge-to-edge colour

Dye turns to gas under heat and bonds into the polyester fibre itself, so the print has zero thickness — you cannot feel it. It only works on polyester and only on light-coloured base fabric, but within those limits nothing else comes close: full-bleed designs, all-over patterns, sports kits, event jerseys and running shirts. Choosing the fabric before you choose the print

Dubai adds a variable most print guides ignore: heat. A 180 GSM cotton t-shirt that feels great in a London office is heavy and slow-drying on an outdoor site in July. Three practical rules:

• Outdoor and event teams: polyester performance fabric. Moisture-wicking knits move sweat away instead of holding it. Our DryNCool performance caps and polos exist for exactly this — a marshal standing in the sun for six hours is a different specification from a receptionist in air conditioning.
• Reception, retail and clinics: cotton or piqué polos, 200–220 GSM. Heavy enough to hold shape after washing, structured enough to look pressed. A 220 GSM cotton polo like the CoolTex at AED 35 is the standard-issue uniform spec for most Dubai offices.
• Sustainability reporting: recycled polos and rPET caps. If your company reports on ESG, recycled-content garments give you a line item you can actually cite. The TERRA recycled polo at AED 29 and the ULTRA rPET cap at AED 22 are the practical entry points.

GSM is the quickest quality signal on a t-shirt. Below 150 GSM you can see through it; 160–180 GSM is the giveaway-shirt range; 200 GSM and above is what people keep wearing after the event.

How to order fabric printing in Dubai

1. Send the logo and quantities on WhatsApp. Message +971 52 210 0909 with your logo (AI, EPS or PDF preferred), the garment you want and the size split. If you do not have a size split yet, order the standard curve: 10% S, 25% M, 30% L, 20% XL, 15% XXL, then adjust.
2. We recommend the method. Tell us the fabric and where the logo goes, and we will tell you whether embroidery, DTF, screen or sublimation is right — and why. If a client asks for embroidery on a design that will not stitch cleanly, we say so before printing, not after.
3. Approve the mock-up. You get a visual with logo size and placement marked in centimetres. Standard left-chest logo is 8–9 cm wide; cap fronts are 5–6 cm wide.
4. Production and delivery. Standard runs are 3–5 working days after artwork approval, delivered across Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. Design and print-file preparation are free with every order.
