A pop-up display stand in Dubai costs between AED 1,590 and AED 4,620 depending on the frame system and the size, and a roll-up banner starts at AED 190. Those two numbers cover most of what exhibitors actually buy. The harder question is which system you need: a softcase pop-up, a hardcase, a seamless fabric pop-up, or a backlit fabric wall. This guide breaks down every option with real prices from the pop-up and roll-up collection, the sizes that fit standard UAE booth allocations, and what setup actually looks like on site.
The five display systems, ranked by how they behave
Roll-up banners — the workhorse
A cassette base with a graphic that pulls up and clicks onto a telescopic pole. Assembly takes under a minute, it packs into a padded bag, and one person can carry it. The standard 85 x 200 cm roll-up at AED 190 is the single most cost-effective branded display in the UAE — it works at a reception desk, a mall activation, a conference sidewall or a job fair.
Wide-format roll-ups exist for when you need a full wall from a cassette: 150 x 200 cm at AED 950, 200 x 200 cm at AED 1,550, and 300 x 200 cm at AED 1,680. These use heavier hardware and a far larger print, which is where the price jump comes from.
Softcase pop-ups — lightest full wall
A magnetic scissor frame with panels that clip on, packed in a padded soft bag. Straight AED 1,590, curved AED 1,750. Choose this if the stand travels by car between events, is stored in an office cupboard, and is set up by your own marketing team rather than a contractor. It is the lowest-cost route to a 3-metre branded wall.
Hardcase pop-ups — the road case that becomes a counter
The same frame, but the case is a wheeled hard shell that converts into a podium with a printed wrap. Straight AED 1,850, curved AED 2,450, and the larger 4 x 3 m curved at AED 3,800. If your stand flies to another emirate or another country, or gets handled by event logistics staff, the hard case pays for itself the first time it is thrown into a truck. You also get a counter for brochures and a laptop without buying a separate one.
Seamless fabric pop-ups — the best-looking option at mid price
An aluminium tube frame with a single stretch-fabric graphic that zips over it. There are no panel joins, so no visible seams across your artwork — the reason most agencies now specify fabric over panel systems. Straight AED 1,690, curved AED 2,150. The fabric washes, folds into a bag, and reprints cheaply: when your campaign changes, you order a new skin and keep the frame. That is the strongest long-term economic argument in this whole category.
Backlit fabric pop-ups — the premium wall
Same tube-frame principle with LED edge lighting behind a translucent fabric, so the whole wall glows. Straight AED 3,450, curved AED 3,950. In a hall with mixed lighting — most Dubai World Trade Centre halls — a backlit wall is visible from two aisles away, and it photographs well, which matters if the booth is going onto social media. Specify it when the booth is a brand statement rather than a stand.

Straight or curved? A practical rule
Curved frames cost roughly AED 160–500 more than the straight equivalent in every system above. The difference is not cosmetic. A curved wall pushes its edges forward, which visually pulls visitors into the booth and hides the neighbouring stand's structure at the edges of your photos. Straight walls are better when the stand sits flush against a hall wall, when you need to line up two units side by side into one long graphic, or when the booth is narrow and the curve would eat floor space you need for people.
For a 3 x 3 m shell scheme — the most common allocation at UAE trade shows — a curved 3 m system fills the back wall correctly. For a 4 x 3 m booth, size up rather than stretching a 3 m graphic.
Sizing, setup and transport
- Standard wall height across these systems is around 2.25–2.3 m, which clears the top rail of most shell schemes without fouling the fascia board.
- Setup time: roll-up under a minute; softcase and hardcase pop-ups 10–15 minutes for two people; seamless fabric 10 minutes because the skin zips on; backlit adds cabling time and needs a power point in your booth contract.
- Transport: everything except the backlit and large 4 x 3 systems is genuinely car-transportable. Hardcase units roll on wheels; softcase and fabric pack into padded bags.
- Storage: fabric skins fold; panel graphics must be rolled, never creased. If your team stores the stand between events, fabric is far more forgiving.
If the stand is one part of a bigger exhibition order, work from a single list rather than ordering piecemeal — our exhibition printing checklist covers everything that has to be on site with it. Artwork: the three things that go wrong
Resolution at size. Supply artwork at final size at 100–150 DPI, or at 25% scale at 300 DPI. A logo pulled from a website will look acceptable on your monitor and soft at 3 metres wide.
The safe zone. Keep logos and key text at least 30 cm above the floor line on any wall system — below that, visitors and furniture block it in every photograph. On curved systems keep critical text off the extreme left and right edges, because the curve foreshortens them.
Panel joins and zips. On panel pop-ups, do not place a face or a word across a join. On fabric systems, keep critical elements 5 cm clear of the frame edge where the fabric wraps. Full pre-flight rules are in our print-ready artwork checklist.
How to order
- Confirm your booth size and whether the back wall is shell scheme or open. This decides straight vs curved and 3 m vs 4 m before anything else.
- Pick the system from the pop-up and roll-up collection, or a photo wall from backdrops and standees.
- Send artwork as PDF or AI with fonts outlined and images embedded, plus 3 mm bleed.
- Approve the layout proof — check the safe zone and the join positions on the proof, not on the original design file.
- Book delivery for the day before build-up, not the morning of. Halls in Dubai restrict vehicle access during build hours, and a stand that arrives at the wrong time waits outside.
FAQ
What is the cheapest way to get a 3-metre branded wall?
A straight softcase pop-up at AED 1,590, or a 300 x 200 cm wide roll-up at AED 1,680 if you want a one-minute setup and no frame assembly. If you expect to reprint the graphic for a future campaign, the straight fabric pop-up at AED 1,690 is better value over two events because you replace only the fabric skin.
Fabric pop-up or panel pop-up — which lasts longer?
Fabric. The skin is washable and folds without creasing, and the aluminium tube frame has fewer failure points than a magnetic scissor frame with clip-on panels. Panel graphics scratch at the joins over repeated setups and must always be stored rolled.
Do I need a backlit wall?
Only if lighting in your hall is poor or the booth is a brand showcase. Backlit fabric runs AED 3,450 straight and AED 3,950 curved, roughly double a standard fabric pop-up, and it needs a power supply included in your booth contract. In a well-lit hall with good booth spotlights, a standard fabric wall photographs almost as well.
How long does production take in Dubai?
It depends on the system and the season — the weeks before GITEX, Gulfood and Big 5 are the tightest in the calendar because every exhibitor orders at once. Send your event date with your enquiry and we will confirm the real production window for that system. Our trade show season guide explains when to book.
Can I reprint the graphic and keep the frame?
Yes, and on fabric and tube systems this is the main reason to buy rather than rent. Keep the frame, order a new fabric skin or new panels for the next campaign. Tell us the frame you already own and we will match the graphic to it.
Do you deliver outside Dubai?
Yes — Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain and Al Ain. Give us the venue and the build-up date so the delivery is timed to the hall's access window rather than to your office hours.
