Business cards or visiting cards — is there a difference?
There is no difference. In the UAE the two names describe exactly the same product, and which one people use mostly depends on where they are from — visiting card is the everyday term for many Indian, Pakistani and Filipino businesses in Dubai, while business card is more common among European and American companies. Order under either name here: the paper, the printing and the price are identical.
Which card should you choose?
Matt laminated 350 gsm is the Dubai standard — it is what most companies order, it photographs well and it takes a pen. Step up to 400 gsm when you want the card to feel stiffer in the hand for very little extra. Choose Spot UV when you want the logo to catch the light against a matt background, gold foil when you want it to genuinely shine, and velvet lamination on 760 micron when the card itself is part of closing the deal — real estate, law, private clinics and luxury services. Paper weight and thickness, in plain terms
- 350 gsm — the standard card. Sturdy, familiar, the safe choice.
- 400 gsm — noticeably stiffer, still a normal-looking card.
- 760 micron — roughly double thickness, with a visible edge. This is the card people comment on.
- 700 gsm — the thickest we print, available from just 100 cards for people who need a few very premium cards rather than a thousand ordinary ones.

Send a print-ready PDF in CMYK at 300 dpi with 3 mm bleed, and keep text at least 3 mm away from the trim edge. Delivery and collection
We print in Dubai and deliver across the whole UAE — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. Delivery is free on orders over AED 800. You can also collect from our office at 32 Sheikh Zayed Road, Office 706, Dubai. Standard runs are ready in 2–4 business days after artwork approval, and the express card is ready the next business day.
