A tour brochure in the UAE market has to do two jobs at once: look premium enough for a AED 12,000 Europe package, and be cheap enough to leave 500 copies in a hotel lobby. The way to square that is to split your print into two tiers rather than compromising on one.
Tier 1: the counter and lobby brochure

For a family buying a honeymoon or a corporate client booking MICE travel, print short-run on 170 gsm glossy or go to B4 so the itinerary spreads across a bigger page. The weight difference is immediately obvious in the hand, and the cost difference at 1,000 copies is AED 85 (AED 525 at 115 gsm vs AED 610 at 170 gsm). That is the cheapest upgrade in this entire article.

Read the per-copy column, not the total. A4 135 gsm glossy falls from 58 fils to 20 fils between 1,000 and 5,000 copies — a 65% drop. The mistake agencies make is printing 1,000 brochures four times a year at 58 fils instead of 5,000 once at 20 fils. If your package prices and dates are the problem, put those on a separate insert sheet and keep the brochure evergreen.
The hand-over pieces: visa folders, document wallets and envelopes
This is where travel agencies in Dubai consistently under-invest, and it is the moment the client remembers. A client who walks out with visa approvals, insurance, vouchers and tickets loose in a plastic bag has a different impression of your agency than one handed a branded folder.
A4 presentation folders with pockets
The practical build is an A4 folder with a glued pocket, printed on heavy board so it survives being carried to an embassy appointment and back. That sounds high until you weigh it against the ticket value it carries. For higher volumes and plainer builds, ask us to quote 250 and 500 — the per-unit drop between 100 and 500 on folder work is substantial because the die is already made.

How to order: a sensible first batch
- Keep dates and prices off the brochure. Print 5,000 evergreen brochures once, then print cheap inserts for seasonal pricing. This is the difference between AED 0.20 and AED 0.58 per brochure.
- Order folders in one annual batch. The die and foil setup is the cost driver; splitting 300 folders into three orders of 100 pays that setup three times.

What is the minimum order for tour brochures?
1,000 copies is the standard minimum on offset brochure printing, which is where the pricing above starts. For smaller quantities we can run digital, but the per-copy cost rises sharply — our MOQ guide explains why minimums exist and how to work around them.
Which GSM should a travel brochure be?
115–135 gsm glossy for lobby and counter distribution, 170 gsm glossy for the brochure you hand to a client who is sitting down with you. Below 100 gsm it reads as a flyer; above 170 gsm it stops folding cleanly without creasing.
Can you print a document folder with our logo in gold?
Yes — 3D gold foil on velvet-laminated 400 gsm board is a standard build, listed at AED 1,425 per 100 A4 folders with pocket. Silver, rose gold and blind embossing are all available; send us the logo as vector artwork.
Do you print visa application forms and checklists?
Yes. These are usually single-colour A4 sheets, or NCR pads if the client signs a copy. Checklists printed on your letterhead and handed over with the folder noticeably reduce the number of "what do I still need to bring?" calls to your counter.
Are window envelopes available for ticket mailing?
Window options are available on DL and A4 sizes. Confirm the window position against your document template before printing — a 5 mm mismatch means the address does not show through, and it is the most common envelope reprint we see.
